Assistant in Nursing Contracts

We are seeking experienced and dedicated Assistant in Nursing professionals to join our team on fixed term contracts.

Job Highlights:

Qualifications and Skills:

• Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
• Proven 1-2 years experience working in a healthcare or aged care setting
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment

Role Summary:

• Personal Care Provider: Assisting residents with activities of daily living, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Health Monitoring: Observing residents’ health status and reporting any changes or concerns to registered nurses or healthcare professionals.
• Mobility Assistance: Helping residents with mobility, transfers, and ambulation to maintain their independence and safety.
• Assistance with Meals: Assisting residents with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper hydration.
• Social Support: Providing emotional support, companionship, and engaging residents in recreational activities to promote their well-being and quality of life.

To be successful:

• Must hold a relevant certificate.
• Must be a citizen or Permanent resident.
• Willing to commit to a full-time contract position, which is ongoing.
• NDISWC required.
• Must be vaccinated or willing to be vaccinated.
• Must have extensive experience.
